What happens after Manipal? A lot of us have been wondering the same thing, so here's the basics as of now:
THINC (5th) Semester
Current options
- 15 weeks of pre-clinical classes in Atlanta, Georgia
- 6 weeks of Falcon Review in Antigua + 6 weeks Self-Study + 6 weeks pre-clinical classes
USMLE Step 1 must be completed after THINC Semester before students can be placed in clinical rotations.
Clinical Rotations
- Core Rotations
- 44 weeks total
- Subjects: Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Gynecology & OB, Pediatrics, Psychiatry
- AUA coordinator assigned to each student will place the student in their core rotations
- Elective Rotations
- 31 weeks total
- AUA will place you in these as well, but you are allowed to apply for these at any hospital of your choosing (**Recommended as it speeds the process**)
